Giant Taximeter Sold for Charity
Out with the old. In with the new. But It's all in good cause....
During the life of the T2 and T2D Mk I taximeters (now replaced by the Mk II versions), a large scale model taximeter was used at exhibitions.
With the new launch, the model was no longer required, so it was decided that the unit would be sold on e-bay, and the proceeds donated to charity.
We are pleased to announce that Mr Don Brandon of P&A Taximeters was successful in the E-Bay auction, and the sum of £304 will be sent to the charity:
The meter was presented to P&A taximeters on Tuesday 18th October 2005.
